Line and Shape
What locations and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photos? For my photos I chose to shoot at the high school. I took pictures of subjects such as the chairs in the senior dining area, brick walls along with the brings on the ground. I also shot two photos of my classmate Leanne.
What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)In my photos I made sure I was up close to capture the fine detail in my picture.
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...) When i took this photo my point of view was straight on.
Are your photographs horizontal or vertical? My photographs are horizontal
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe. Yes i considered the rule of thirds by making sure i had a focus point in photo.
Which one of of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work? My photo number 2 is a dynamic composition by catching the viewers eye by having the person as a focal person but also having break throughs go the gate in the background.

Pattern and Texture
In the photo with the chairs I'm up close to take the picture. When I took this photo I shot it from straight on. My photo is vertical. This photo does follow the rule of thirds because of how the silver part of the chair intersects with the blue seat at the top guide. line. This photo is an example of texture and rhythm. Texture is represented in this photo by how the silver part of the chair looks so smooth and it represents rhythm by the on going chairs piled on top of each other. I think the photo with the chairs has the proper exposure of lighting.

Painting with Light
My first photo there's a red light surrounding a person while another white light is also circling around them.
I used a 5 second shutter speed
I used string lights as a light source to create this painting
I achieved this image by moving light
What impact does the photo have? How would the viewer feel looking at your photo? I believe the viewer will be intrigued when they look at this photo.

Select one of your images that show a shallow depth of field.
What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a shallow depth of field? I had my f-stop low (2.8) to create a shallow depth of field
What ISO and WB settings did you use? The ISO was set at 800 and the white balance was fluorescent
Discuss one of your images that show a large depth of field.
What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a large depth of field? My f-stop was at f/16 to create a large depth of field
What ISO and WB settings did you use? I used an ISO of 3200 and a white balance of incandescent
Which photo is better? Why? I believe a shallow depth of field is a better photo because it draws your focus and you can see more details.
Why would you want to use a shallow depth of field? When you want the viewer to have a focal point
When/in what situation would a large depth of field be better? When you want the viewer to focus on everything such as a landscape.
